My work

Working with inspiration from my surroundings is a key aspect of my personal work. My friends and memories are portrayed in bright and cheerful paintings. Most of my work is created to capture my life, create a nostalgic view of how I lived. Show what is most dear to me in my present life. I love to capture the people as I see them and add information about them through the setting I put them in and the objects they’re surrounded with. I try to base my paintings on reality, with a personal touch. The medium I prefer to work with is acrylics. 

Motivation
The motivation behind my work is that I often see beauty in the people I surround myself with. But not only beauty in my own loved ones. It gives me great joy to create a painting or illustration of someone you hold dear. To capture their personal energy and style, the atmosphere that surrounds them.
